Learners from the Grimsby Institute’s hospitality department joined their tutors and families to celebrate their success at the annual end of year dinner.
The evening was a huge success with a number of learners receiving a variety of awards including a special award, which was presented by respected local businessman and Rotarian, Jim Jackson M.B.E.
Over the past year, learners have enjoyed working on a number of events such as the World Seafood Congress, the University Centre Grimsby Graduation Ceremony and the UK Seafood Competition, as part of their course gaining vital work experience. Learners have also taken part in a number of visits to a variety of high profile trade events and college competitions across the country.
