A secret theme will be unveiled during the opening event and then teams will spend the weekend collaborating to create the best game. Graham Raddings, University Centre Grimsby’s Curriculum Leader for Higher Education Media, explained:

“The Global Game Jam is a chance for Creatives, Game Designers, Developers and like-minded individuals to get together and create games. It’s a wonderful collaborative experience and an exciting event. We have guest judges from the games industry coming too including; BAFTA Panel Member and Founder of Sensible Games – Jon Hare, PS4 Developer and MD of Atomicon – Mike Clarke, Classic Game Musician – Allistair Brimble and Veteran Game Programmer – Jim Bagley.

With interest from Sony, Microsoft and other games industry heavy weights, this is a great chance to collaborate, be creative and have fun!”
