Level 3 TV and Film learner, Chloe Cummings, was the lucky winner of a brand new bike lock after she took part in a Bike Safety event.

Susan Rowson, Senior Administrator for the Estates Department, explained: “We held a Bike Safety event to try and encourage learners to use the correct lock when using our onsite cycle shelter. As part of that we worked with the Police to encourage learners to register their bikes, phones and other valuable items on the Immobilise website so if it gets stolen the Police can find out sooner.”

Immobilise is the UK property register. Once you have registered your items it means they could be returned to you if they are lost or stolen.

Chloe said: “I registered my phone on immobilise in case it gets lost or stolen. I’m really happy to win the lock because I want to get in shape so I can ride my bike to the Institute and I now know it will be locked up safely.”
